The AdvoCare Invitational is an early-season Division 1 college basketball tournament played each November at ESPN Wide World of Sports near Orlando, Florida. The tournament, entering its 13th year in 2018, features a bracket format with 12 games over three days. Each team competes in one game per day regardless of results. The 2018 AdvoCare Invitatinal will be played Nov. 22, 23 & 25 and will feature returning national champion Villanova, Elite 8 participant Florida State, Colonial Athletic Association champion College of Charleston, NIT participants LSU and Oklahoma State, as well as Canisius, Memphis, and UAB. The tournament bracket and schedule will be announced this summer.
The 2017 event took place this past Nov. 23, 24 and 26 and was won by the West Virginia Mountaineers, who defeated Missouri in the final. Both of those squads went on to make the NCAA Tournament, with West Virginia advancing to the Sweet 16.
